She has gained expert skills in the treatment of patients with end stage renal failure with or without concomitant diabetes who underwent kidney, simultaneous kidney-pancreas, pancreas alone and islet of Langerhans transplantation; specialized in the field of immunosuppression and its complications (infections, lymphoproliferative disease, neoplasm) and in the medical emergency care (ERfrom 1993 to 2004).
