Doctor Luca Aldrighetti is Chief of the Hepatobiliary and General Surgery Division at the San Raffaele Research Hospital in Milan. Holds a position of Scientific Director of the Italian Group of Minimally Invasive Liver Surgery (IGoMILS). Primary clinical and research activities include surgical oncology topics on colorectal liver metastases, perihilar and intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma and hepatocellular carcinoma, techniques for liver resection, and minimally invasive hepatobiliary surgery, with a personal series of more than 2800 liver resections, more than 900 of which performed laparoscopically.
