Dr. Eustachio Agricola is the Director of Echocardiography Laboratory of San Raffaele Research Hospital.
He is expert in transesophageal echocardiography, stress echo imaging and myocardial deformation imaging. His main clinical topic is the valvular heart diseases (particularly mitral, aortic and tricuspid).
In recent years, he has devoted his research and clinical activities to the Dr.Interventional Echocardiography (echocardiographic support for percutaneous treatment of structural heart diseases: Cardioband, MitraClip, Percutaneous Mitral Valve Replacement, TAVI, Percutaneous Tricuspid valve repair, LAA closure, PVL closure), becoming one of the most important international expert in this field.
His main interest is Echocardiography.
He has been chairman and/or speaker in more than 200 international and national congresses and courses.
