dr. Consultant Andrea Kahlberg

Dr. Kahlberg Andrea is a consultant at the Vascular Surgery Department and an Assistant Professor in Vascular Surgery at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University. Dr. Kahlberg has focused his surgical and clinical activity on the endovascular treatment of vascular disease, with particular interest to thoracic, abdominal and thoraco-abdominal aortic aneurysms by using new-generations and branched/fenestrated stent-grafts. He performed more than 7,000 vascular and endovascular surgical operations, of which 2,000 as a first operator. Adjunct Professor at the Residency Program in Vascular Surgery, under the Direction of Prof. Roberto Chiesa, he coordinates seminars and courses on complex endovascular techniques and planning, carrying out formal and practical teaching.
