Dr. Lorella Fanti is the Chief of the Gastrointestinal (GI) Endoscopy Division at the Gastroenterology and Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Unit, at San Raffaele Research Hospital, Milan. She is adjunct Professor at the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University. Since 1990, she has obtained a wide experience in Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP); at present,her main activity is diagnostic and operative Gastrointestinal Endoscopy of upper and lower GI tract with particular attention to endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) of large polyps, placement of endo-luminal metal stents, endoscopic fundoplication for GERD (TIF), management of GI bleeding and treatment of post-surgical complications, new methods of sedo-analgesia in gastrointestinal endoscopy.
