Dr. Azzolini Francesco is the Chief of Operative Endoscopy Service at the Gastroenterology & G.I. Endoscopy Unit at the San Raffaele Research Hospital, Milan. He performed over 18,000 endoscopic procedures, more than 2,000 EMR and polypectomies, more than 200 stenting treatments in the oesophagus, stomach, duodenum and colon. He is one of the most experienced operators on ESD (Endoscopic Submucosa Dissection) in Italy having carried out over 350 procedures in the oesophagus, stomach and colon.
