Consultant Burtulo Giovanni

Dr. Burtulo Giovanni is General surgeon at the General and Emergency Surgery Department. As a surgeon at Ospedale San Raffaele, he performed over 1,400 surgical procedures, out of which 400 as main surgeon.
As main surgeon he focused on laparoscopic cholecystectomy, laparoscopic appendectomy and inguinal prosthetic hernioplasty, proctological procedures (LASER hemorrhoidal dearterialization, haemorrhoidectomy, procedures for anal fissures, etc), day surgery (excision of pilonidal sinus) and ambulatory surgery (including excision of nevi, melanoma, cysts and lipomas) performed within the national healthcare system or privately. He tutored the "Surgical propaedeutics" university course coordinated by Prof. Braga.
