dr. Consultant Massimiliano Bissolati

Dr. Bissolati is the Consultant at the Bariatric-Metabolic and Transplant Surgery Unit of the San Raffaele Research Hospital. He is organ procurement team leader from 2011, with more than 100 surgical procedures concerning kidney and pancreas procurement and back-table surgery. He performed over 200 surgical procedures as a main surgeon, mainly related to kidney and pancreas transplantation, vascular access in the nephropathic patient and bariatric surgery. He is the responsible of Ex-vivo hypothermic machine perfusion program for the San Raffaele's kidney transplantation program.
