dr. Consultant Muriana Piergiorgio

Prof. Muriana Piergiorgio is an Assistant at the Thoracic Surgery Unit of the San Raffaele Research Hospital. He is Adjunct Professor at "Vita-Salute" San Raffaele University.
He performed over 150 surgical procedures as main surgeon, most of them with a minimally-invasive technique (Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery, VATS).
He took part in over 1000 procedures of general thoracic surgery and experienced respiratory endoscopist, routinely performs bronchoscopies with both diagnostic and therapeutic intent.
