Professor Andrea Salonia is Senior staff physician at the Academic Unit of Urology of the San Raffaele Research Hospital and full professor of Urology at the Vita Salute San Raffaele University of Milan, Italy. He is the Director of URI-Urological Research Institute, the translational research institute of the San Raffaele Research Hospital, where physician scientists and preclinical researchers are completely devoted to preclinical and clinical research in the field of urologic oncology, functional urology, sexual and reproductive medicine. He performed over 3,000 surgical procedures as the main surgeon, mainly related to male sexual and reproductive disorders, bladder and prostate cancer.
