Dr. Socci is the Director of the Transplant Surgery and Metabolic-Bariatric Surgery Unit at the San Raffaele Hospital. He performed over 2,000 surgical procedures as main surgeon, mainly related to Bariatric, Transplant and General Surgery, included procedures with a minimally invasive technique. Over 90 experimental and clinical articles. He was named by the Italian Society of Obesity Surgery as the Coordinator of San Raffaele Hospital's Centre of Excellence for Bariatric Surgery.
