Prof. Francesco Fasce is the Chief of the Cataract and Anterior Segment Surgery Unit at San Raffaele Research Hospital, Milan. He is the clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University teaching the 5th year medical students, course on clinic and surgery of anterior segment pathologies.
He performed more than 15.000 procedures: anterior segment surgery and cornea including: age-related and congenital cataract extractions (extracapsular and phacoemulsification),complex cataract extractions, anterior segment reconstructions, sutured posterior chamber intraocular lens implantation,Penetrating Keratoplasty, Deep Lamellar Keratoplasty, Amniotic Membrane Transplantation, Refractive surgery.
