dr. Senior Consultant Giordano Leone

Prof. Giordano Leone is the Senior Consultant at the Otorhinolaryngology Department at the Ospedale San Raffaele Research Hospital, Milan.
He is a contract Professor at Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele: Faculty of Medicine Surgery and Otolaryngology Specialisation School.
He  performed over 5,000 ENT surgical procedures(classic surgical approaches for head and neck disorders, surgery of major salivary glands, endoscopic nose-sinus surgery, endoscopic laryngeal microsurgery with CO2 laser, diode laser use for cancer diseases of the ENT district, voice recovery in laryngectomized patients through the use of voice prostheses, endocrinosurgery: thyroid and parathyroid glands).
He focuses his interest on major oncological surgery of the head and neck and reconstructive surgery with local flaps, pedunculated and revascularized with microsurgical techniques, also dealing with the reconstruction of nerve lesions.
