dr. Senior Consultant Capitanio Umberto

Dr. Umberto Capitanio is a full staff urologist at the San Raffaele Research Hospital in Milan.
He is a Chairman of the European Association Urology (EAU), Young Academic Urologists (YAU) for Renal Cancer and Fellow of the European Board of Urology (EBU).
He has been research fellow at the Cancer prognostics and Health Outcomes Unit of the University of Montreal, Canada.
He published more than 220 papers in peer-reviewed journals (Source: Scopus Dec 2017, ORCID 0000-0001-9225-1795) which were cited more than 5,200 times (H-index 41).
He received many academic prizes, including the John Blandy Award in 2009.
