Vice- Director Carretta Angelo

Prof. Angelo Carretta is a Thoracic surgeon, practicing at the Thoracic Surgery Unit of the San Raffaele Research Hospital in Milan, Italy.  
He is the Chief of the Thoracic Endoscopy service. He is associate Professor of Thoracic Surgery - Vita-Salute San Raffaele University. Dr. Carretta has performed as the main surgeon over 1,100 thoracic surgery procedures, including major pulmonary, pleural, mediastinal and tracheal surgery, and over 2,200 diagnostic and invasive bronchoscopies, including 159 rigid bronchoscopies with placement of tracheal and bronchial stents.
He has acquired clinical and scientific experience in the surgical and endoscopic treatment of tracheal diseases on a series of 243 patients with benign and neoplastic airway stenosis and 64 patients with tracheal trauma.
