Professor Michele De Bonis is the Chief of Cardiac Surgery, Innovation and Research at the San Raffaele Research Hospital in Milan. Professor of Cardiac Surgery and the Director of the Cardiac Surgery Training School at the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University. During his career performed over 5,000 major cardiac surgery operations, over 2500 of those performed as the first surgent. As topics of main interest, Professor consentrates on minimally invasive valve surgery and trans-catheter approaches. Dr. De Bonis is an expert in valve repair and mechanical circulatory support (LVAD/BiVAD/TAH).
