Dr. Denti Paolo is a Senior Consultant at the Cardiac Surgery Unit of the San Raffaele Research Hospital. He is in charge of the transcatheter therapy for mitral disease as Hybrid Cardiovascular Surgeon since 2013. He is adjunct Professor of Hybrid Cardiac Surgery and at the Master's Programme in Interventional Cardiology since 2014 at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University. Hybrid training in surgical theatre (Prof. Alfieri) and Cath Lab (Prof. Colombo). ESC Fellow and EACTS Member. Expert Mitraclip implanter (more 100 cases/year). Implanter of 1st Tiara (percutaneous mitral valve) in Italy (2nd Europe) on 23/03/2016. He is the 3rd Operator at FIM (First in man) implantation of the first percutaneous annuloplasty band (Cardioband) in 2013 at San Raffaele and Percutaneous Tricuspid valve repair (Tricinch) (2014). He is an expert in Minimally invasive mitral valve repair including Harpoon and Neochord Transapical implantation, TAVI (Tap, Tao, TF) on either valve, in mitral and aortic valve repair, and in ring procedures.
