Dr. Director of the Unit Chiesa Roberto

Doctor Roberto Chiesa is the Chief of the Vascular surgery department at the San Raffaele Research Hospital in Milan. A full-time Professor and Chairman of Vascular Surgery Department at the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University. With a surgical experience of more than 10,000 major vascular arterial interventions, his main interest is aortic surgery, and he is recognised by the international scientific community as a world leading expert on thoraco-abdominal aortic aneurysm and dissection surgical repair. He also recently reported the largest series ever published on hybrid treatment of aortic arch disease.
