Doctor Teresa Cammarota

Biography

She was born in 1948.
In 1972 she graduated in Medicine and Surgery in Rome with 110/110 cum laude and in 1976 the Specialization in Medical Radiology. In 1979 she obtained the Specialization in Clinical Oncology at the University of Turin with a score of 70/70 cum laude.
In 1982 she obtained the Diploma of Internal Ultrasound and in 1985 the European Diploma of Ultrasound.

Professional path
• From 1989 to 2013 he was Director of Radiology at the S. Giovanni Battista Hospital of Turin.
• Professor of Diagnostic Imaging at the Schools of Specialization in Radiology, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, Dermatology and Nephrology of the University of Turin.

Ordinary Member of the Academy of Medicine of Turin and member of the Presidential Council.

Member of the Board of Directors of the Italian Society of Medical Radiology (SIRM) in the four-year period 1998-2002 and Vice President of the same Society in the two-year period 2000-2002.

Member of the Board of Directors of the Ultrasound and Soft Tissue Study Sections of SIRM.

Member of the European Society of Uroradiology and of the Gastroenterological Radiology Society of North America.

She is the author of over 100 scientific papers and Editor of the following texts:
