Breast Augmentation (Augmentation Mammoplasty )

Endoprosthetics of the mammary glands are placed to increase the volume, replenish the shape after changes associated with child feeding , as well as to correct pronounced asymmetry of the mammary glands.

The operation is performed using modern silicone prostheses of various shapes and sizes. To date, it has been unambiguously proven that the use of silicone implants does not provoke any oncological and immunological diseases in women. The prosthesis can be placed in the space between the mammary gland and the underlying pectoral muscles. This is the easy way, but over time the prosthesis is well felt by the hands. Another way is to put the prosthesis completely in the axillary space. This operation is more difficult, but there is no chance to feel the implant in the long-term period. The incision under the breast (in the submammary fold) can be considered as classic, but an incision along the edge of the areola leaves the most invisible trace of the operation
