The DHI (direct hair implantation) service is a very popular option for those looking to restore their follicle. This service offers a very natural-looking result and is a great option for those with a limited amount of donor’s hair. There is no need to cut the recipient area with this method. The grafts are placed in special implanter pens with a hollow needle connected to a tube and plunger mechanism. Then, a single follicle is removed from the donor site with tweezers. A 40-45 degree angle is inserted into the head with the needle, placing the incision site over the graft after pressing the plunger down. Follicular unit extraction (FUE) method is a minimally invasive surgical method when individual follicular units are removed directly from donor area without slits and sutures.
