First visit: The area of the implant(s) is cleaned and any remnants of the damaged tooth removed; The implant is put into the bone; Following 10 days the patient has to restrain from travelling, as transportation (especially by plane) can affect the process of implant - bone integration. Second visit can be scheduled 3 months later, as this is the time necessary for full integration of the implant to the bone. Second visit : Gum shaper is placed to ensure proper formation of the gum that will surround the implanted tooth crown. This process takes 7 to 10 days. An abutment ( a piece that connects the crown to the implant) is put in the implant; The crown measurement and shape is defined and ordered to the laboratory. The production of the crown takes up to 7 days; Upon arrival, the crown is put and permanently fastened to the abutment.
