Biography

Dr. Rubén Davó, doctor of Medicine and Surgery, specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Considered an international benchmark in complex oral implantology. I am currently an assistant doctor at the University Hospital of Barcelona and Medical Director of the Davó Institute at the Vithas Medimar hospital, where he directs the oral and maxillofacial surgery unit. Instituto Davó celebrates 20 years of intense dedication to clinical research, training and clinical care. After 16 years of research in the implant treatment of patients with lack of bone in the upper jaw, which has resulted in numerous clinical studies and scientific publications, today it is a world reference center for these therapies. Along these lines, they have just published the results of their prospective study on the "quadruple Zygoma" technique in a high-impact international journal. The clinical results after 15 years documenting these techniques are that practically 100% of the people who underwent surgery quickly and predictably normalize their functional, social and psychological appearance and that this is maintained over time. In addition, I am an international speaker and I am part of the "Global Advisory Board" of the Swiss multinational Nobelbiocare. Most of my research and scientific publications have focused on the immediate function zygomatic implant technique and how it normalizes patients' quality of life.
