Biography
Prof. Carlo Maglie, physiatrist in Rome and specialist in liver and metabolic diseases, graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 1992 at the University of La Sapienza in Rome, obtaining a specialization in Liver and Metabolic Diseases in 1998 at the University of Messina, the Master's Degree in Oxygen Ozone Therapy at the Academy of Higher Health Training Santo Spirito Hospital in Rome, the three-year Master's Degree in Corrective and Aesthetic Medicine at the same Academy, the Diploma of Osteopath at the Italian Society of Osteopaths and Chiropractors and specialized in Clinical Posturology with Bernard Bricot. He has been Professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Chieti since June 2013 and Professor of the II level Master of the LUMSA University in aesthetic medicine. Prof. Carlo Maglie has been involved in Oxygen Ozone Therapy since 1993 when he began the practice of Ozone in the orthopedic field with Dr. Cesare Verga, pioneer of Oxygen-Ozone therapy in disc-vertebral pathologies. As Dr. Verga's main collaborator, he has strongly contributed to the refinement of the therapy, applying this method over the years at his practice and at other qualified centers as a consultant. He has been a member of the Scientific Society of Oxygen Ozone Therapy and of the Discosan Association for the study of minimally invasive therapies in diseases of the spine. He has participated, as a lecturer, in courses and Masters organized by University Institutions and by the main scientific societies and associations for medical training in the field of Oxygen Ozone. It is aimed at adult patients and deals with children only and exclusively with regard to the prevention of postural disorders in children. Appointments are available at "Studio MedicoM" in Rome.
