Cardiac Holter is a type of electrocardiogram that is performed in the presence of suspected discontinuous arrhythmias, which appear irregularly and therefore are not recorded by a classic ECG at rest or by an electrocardiogram under stress. Its peculiarity is that it is carried out with the use of a portable electrocardiograph, which monitors the activity of the heart for at least 24 consecutive hours.
