dr. Dr. med. dent. Enes Hodžić

Born in Mostar in 1944. In 1971 he graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry in Belgrade and in 1985 he specialized in maxillofacial surgery, partly at the University Department of Maxillofacial Surgery in Belgrade, and partly at the Military Medical Academy, also in Belgrade. During 1986 he completed an internship in plastic surgery at the Military Medical Academy. In 1987, as part of his study specialization, he went to Oslo to the Rikshospitalet clinic, to the plastic surgery department. From 1988 to 1991 he worked at the ENT and IFC in Mostar. During the same period, he was occasionally training reconstructive surgery at the Clinical Hospital Center in Ljubljana. He opened his first private practice in 1994 in Metković, in 2004, he opened a polyclinic in Rovinj. From 1997 to 2006 he worked with prof. Mario Bagatin on the problem of children’s splits. From 2004 to 2008, he was intensively involved in the study of stem cells. In Rovinj, in 2008, he founded the ME-DENT clinic (later renamed REGENIUS) for general medicine and aesthetic surgery, which makes a great contribution to science in the field of stem cell treatment. He has participated in numerous professional symposia and congresses around the world (Paris, Brussels, Stockholm, Madrid). He is married and has two daughters.
