Bariatric patients usually have, besides obesity, multiple associated pathologies that must be evaluated

prior to surgery.Our consultants work alongside in a multidisciplinary team to provide the best standard of care for our patients.

We developed a full program for bariatric patients that includes 1-day preoperative evaluation, with dedicated

navigator for each bariatric patient and we use safe standardised surgical protocols according to international standards.

In the hospital we have specific facilities and dedicated medical equipment for bariatric patients (rooms, CT

scan, MRI, Operating room, Surgical instruments).Based on our results we were recognised by Surgical

Review Corporation as the Only Center of Excellence for Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery in Eastern Europe.

In each specialty we are offering not just the best consultants, but we also have the latest technology.

We have 15 operating rooms offering the highest level of performance for surgeries and procedures.

Bariatric surgery itself has specific needs in terms of surgical tables that can hold more than 200 kilos,

specific bariatric surgical instruments and always a dedicated team.

To obtain best results in a bariatric program, we implemented dedicated protocols and patient care

pathways according to best practice guidelines.

Patients have special needs after surgery, and that is why they are enrolled in a long term follow up program

together with the whole medical team (surgeon, nutritionist, cardiologist, gastroenterology, psychologist, etc).

The hospital has 250 beds and dedicated surgical and medical intensive care units for all specialties.

In hard numbers we are proud to treat more than 150000 pts /year, with the aid of more than 700 physicians, performing more than 7500 surgeries each year.
