Neurology"Dr. Alessandra Maria Pesenti, neurologist in Rome, graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 1994, specialized in Neurology in 2000 and obtained a PhD in Neurological and Pain Sciences in 2004 at the University of Milan. During the PhD period she was a fellow PhD student (Marie Curie Grant of the European Economic Community for Young Researchers) at the Sobell Research Department of Motor Neuroscience and Movement Disorders, Institute of Neurology – University College of London (UCL) under the guidance of Prof. J. Rothwell. Dr. Pesenti has carried out clinical activity in the neurological and neurophysiological field as Head of the Neurophysiology Service at the Military Hospital of Milan and as a contractor at the Department of Neurophysiopathology of the National Neurological Institute ""C. Besta"" in Milan under the direction of Prof. G. Avanzini in 2003. In 2004 she was a medical director at the Division of Neurology of the Desio Hospital. She moved to Rome in 2005 and since 2006 she has been a consultant at the Israelite Hospital in Rome. Receives by appointment at MEDICOM in Rome.
