Traumatology Department

The department provides surgical treatment including organ-preserving operations, custom made endoprosthetics, and reconstructive
procedures.
Advanced orthopedic solutions are also available, such as both simple and complex arthroscopies, primary anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstructions, osteosynthesis for all types of bone fractures and management of post fracture
complications.
Primary and revision joint replacement surgeries are performed for the hip, knee, and shoulder joints, including simultaneous bilateral replacements of the
knees or hips, as well as and direct anterior minimally invasive hip endoprosthesis placement performed without an incision that damages the capsuloligamentous apparatus. Each joint surgery lasts approximately 30 minutes, and patients are typically able to walk and move independently within 3 hours after surgery.
The department uses custom-made European prostheses tailored to each patient’s needs.
