Biography

was born 1962 in Rijeka. He enrolled to Faculty of Medicine in Rijeka, Since 1990-2020. he has been working at the Clinic for Orthopedics in Lovran and since 2020 he started working in Special hospital for orthopeady and rehabilitation “Martin Horvat” Rovinj. He passed the specialist exam in orthopedics at the Clinic for Orthopedics of the Medical Faculty in Zagreb in 1997. Dr. sc. Hari Jurdana received his master's degree in 2006 and then his doctorate in 2011 at the Faculty of Medicine in Rijeka. In 1999, he attended a course in Zagreb and passed the exam for a forensic expert in traumatology and orthopedics. In 2014, he was elected a senior research associate in the scientific field of biomedicine and health-field of clinical medical science. In his professional work, he improved his skills abroad, but also in continuing education courses recognized by the Croatian Medical Chamber. He trained scientifically and professionally at world-renowned clinics. It is necessary to highlight the stays at the Dutch Orthopedic Society Netherlands, Amsterdam, in the education program of European orthopedists, In Austria, at the Osterrechische Arztegesellschaft fur Manuelle Medizin, he is educated and trained in the application of manual medicine and conservative orthopedics. He attended a course in musculoskeletal oncology at the Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute of the University of Bologna. He perfected the orthopedic technique of osteosynthesis in Davos, Switzerland. In Germany, Hamburg-Norderstedt, he specialized in computer-assisted surgery. He is also a recognized permanent court expert in traumatology and orthopedics, the Croatian Medical Chamber. Title Assistant Professor Dr. sc. Hari Jurdana actively participates in teaching and research activities at the Department of Orthopedics and Physical Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Rijeka. Dr. sc. Hari Jurdana is a member of several reputable scientific and professional associations: the Croatian Medical Association, the Croatian Medical Chamber, the Croatian Orthopedic Society, the Croatian Association of Orthopedists and Traumatologists.
