About Dr. Lee Byung-Hee
Dr. Lee Byung-Hee is a globally recognized authority in Arterial Stem Cell Therapy, based in South Korea. He is known for his pioneering work in utilizing high-purity arterial stem cells to treat chronic and degenerative conditions with a focus on personalized, science-driven care.
Education and Training
Dr. Lee Byung-Hee earned his medical degree from Yonsei University College of Medicine, one of South Korea’s most prestigious medical schools. He completed his internship and residency at Severance Hospital, a leading institution in clinical training and research. Further advancing his clinical expertise, Dr. Lee completed a neuro-intervention fellowship at Severance Hospital, where he pioneered numerous interventional procedures. He later served as Assistant Professor at CHA Bundang Medical Center and was appointed Chief Professor at Eulji University Hospital, where he trained future clinicians in both neurovascular intervention and regenerative therapies. He also held the position of Director of the Neurovascular Center at Cheonan Chungmu Hospital, playing a critical role in expanding advanced neuro-care services. Notably, he was the first physician in Korea to perform carotid artery stenting (1997), intracranial stenting (1998), and stent-assisted coil embolization for cerebral aneurysms (2002). His dedication to medical advancement continues with his leadership in arterial stem cell therapy education and application.
Professional Experience
Dr. Lee has served in numerous roles across hospitals, research centers, and specialized cell therapy clinics, both in Korea and internationally. He is the current director of Yonsei BH clinic, a state-of-the-art regenerative medicine center where he leads a multidisciplinary team in developing advanced treatment protocols using arterial stem cells. Over the years, he has successfully treated patients with autoimmune disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, liver conditions, and joint degeneration—utilizing arterial stem cell injections, precision delivery systems, and post-treatment cellular tracking. His experience spans both early-stage interventions and supportive care for advanced chronic conditions, with a strong emphasis on patient safety, efficacy, and measurable outcomes.
