Professor Pietro Mortini is the Chief of the Neurosurgery and Stereotactic Radiosurgery Department in the San Raffaele Research Hospital in Milan. His major research interests lie in the clinical study of neuro-oncology and multimodal treatment of complex skull base and Central Nervous System tumours. Has performed over 6,000 neurosurgical interventions, mainly related to the skull base, brain, and spine tumours as well as cerebrovascular disorders. At present, he has the highest number of cases of surgical pituitary adenoma treatment and pituitary tumor in the world.
