Professor Nadia Di Muzio is a Chief of the Radiotherapy Department in the San Raffaele Research Hospital in Milan. Professor of Medical Physics in a Specialization School at the University of Milan, Professor of Radiation Therapy in a Specialization School, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, at the University of Milan-Bicocca and Professor at the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University. Doctor Di Muzio underwent a training program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the department of Radiotherapy, where studied the use of the Tomotherapy system. She also has been trained at the University of New York on the use of high-tech equipment for radiation therapy. Since 1999 Professor Di Muzio holds a position of Italian Coordinator of the Brachitherapy Italian Group and actively advocates the implementation of high-precision hypofraction methods in the radical treatment of prostate neoplasms.
