Professor Mehmet Faruk Geyik is a highly experienced and
respected Infectious Diseases Specialist with over 30 years of
expertise in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of infectious diseases. With a strong academic background and significant clinical experience, Professor Geyik specializes in bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic infections, both in the community and hospital settings. His clinical expertise extends to intensive care infections, travel medicine, fever of unknown origin, vaccine management, and epidemic diseases, including COVID-19 and monkeypox.
Additionally, he is highly skilled in microbiological diagnostics and the management of sexually transmitted infections and complex cases such as osteomyelitis and spondylodiscitis. His contributions to the field include a deep commitment to both patient care and advancing the education of future medical professionals.
